NYDAA NEWS

NYDAA had its semi annual meeting in Waterloo, New York October 24, 2009.  At the meeting there were changes made to the NYDAA by-laws, an ongoing work.  The by laws will be available online in the near future, as well as our Manual of Procedures (mop). 

Also mentioned at the meeting was the fact that The New York State Society of Orthodontists has  formally proposed another tier of Licensed Dental Assisting, for orthodontic assistants. It has been proposed to both The New York State Board of Dentistry and The New York State Dental Association.  More information will be added as it becomes available.

NYDAA Annual Session to Be Held In ITHACA, NY

April 17, 2010

New York Dental Assistants Association will hold its annual business meeting and continuing education program April 17, 2010 at the Ramada Inn in Ithaca, NY. 

University at Buffalo School of Dental Medicine Office of Continuing Education will offer a 12 hour DANB (Dental Assisting National Board) review on Friday April 16, 2010 in conjunction with NYDAA annual session April 1, 2010. This review is to help prepare to take the DANB exam and participants must come prepared. For further information on the DANB review please contact UBSDM/at (716)-829-2320.
